WHO IS VANESSA LEDIVA?

Jeffrey has spent his life playing "dress up" on and off the stage.  From dressing up as Dorothy for Halloween in pre-school, to playing drag roles in theater, to hosting drag parties in his home, he has always pushed the boundaries of his gender expression in an effort to feel utterly fabulous.  After several years of organizing To Drag or Not to Drag, a fundraiser for Elmira Little Theatre, Vanessa LeDiva made her official debut in 2019.

Since then, Vanessa has been a staple of the Southern Tier queer community.  She has performed Drag Storytimes for families at local libraries, book stores, and Pride events, she has hosted Drag Bingo on college campuses and at local restaurants, and she has been a part of countless drag shows, brunches, and fundraisers.

Known for her glamorous looks and powerhouse vocals, Vanessa brings sparkle, laughter, and a touch of camp to every stage she steps on. Drag is deeply important to her because she strives to be the adult she once needed as a child. She knows that representation can light the way for those still learning to shine. Through Vanessa, she hopes to be a living reminder that everyone deserves to see themselves reflected with pride, with joy, and with the freedom to be exactly who they are. She aims to be an example, an inspiration, and a beacon for anyone who needs one.

You can catch Vanessa dazzling audiences all over the Southern Tier, so check out her upcoming events page, mark your calendars, and get ready to live your best glittery life. Or better yet, book her to make your next event fabulously unforgettable — because every party deserves extra sparkle, big laughs, and a whole lot of diva attitude.
